# Adding the Fudge service to your site.

The Fudge Global Acceleration network runs on Fastly Compute at Edge workers.

Get it up and running in a few simple steps.

If you're already using Fastly, click here to see how installation will work for you.

# 1. Make a DNS change to prove that you own your domain.

First, we need to generate a TLS certificate for your site and Fudge to work together in a secure manner.

In order to use Fudge, you need to prove that you own the domain you're asking us to accelerate.

In order to do so, you'll need to add a CNAME record to your DNS, this proves that you own the domain.

# 2. Add A CNAME record and 4 A records to your DNS

Once your certificate has been successfully verified, you can point your traffic to the Fudge Global Acceleration Network.

In order to do so, you'll add a final CNAME record to your DNS as well as 4 A records, routing traffic from your domain to the Fudge network

# 3. Accelerate your site

Once your DNS records have been updated, we can start analyzing your site. Fudge will automatically apply the best performance optimizations to your site.
